In April 2004, Warm Hands, Warm Hearts was voted the Volunteer Group of the Year for the town of Newington! A few of us went to accept the award which was presented to us by the Department of Human Services at their Annual Awards Dinner.

Proclamation

In April 2005, Warm Hands, Warm Hearts was presented with this proclamation by Mayor McBride & Newington’s Town Council. The award honors our group for its contributions to the town of Newington through The Tower of Penny Power.		 WHWH's Proclamation in 2004
